Kisumu Polytechnic invites suitably qualified applicants for the following vacant positions:
 
Deputy Finance Officer – JG K
Job Purpose: Reporting to the Finance Officer, the incumbent will be expected to assist with strategic and tactical execution on all accounting and financial initiatives.
 
For appointment to this position, a candidate must have:
  • Bachelor of Commerce – Accounting or Finance Option or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • Certified Public Accountant II (CPA-K) or its equivalent.
  • Must have at least three (3) years work experience as a Senior Accountant in an educational institution or related field.
  • Excellent computer skills including detailed understanding of MS Office and accounting software application especially sun systems.
  • Age- 30-40 years
Security Officer – JG J
Job Purpose: Reporting to the Administration and Human Resources Manager the incumbent will be expected to ensure the maintenance of law and order within the Polytechnic; prevent and solve crimes and ensure effective and efficient security of Polytechnic and its assets.
For appointment to this position, a candidate must have:
  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education ‘C’ plain or its accepted equivalent
  • Trained in security matters.
  • Current Certificate of Good Conduct
  • Must have worked within the Police Forces or Military Forces or Prisons or National Youth Service at a supervisory level and discharged honorably.
  • Must have held a similar position for at least two years
  • Age- 40 -50 years
