We are looking to hire a full time front end web developer to join our team immediately. Our offices are at Langata Link in Hardy, near the Giraffe Center.

Responsibilities:

– Write cross browser, standards compliant HTML and CSS

– Organise and maintain content across a portfolio of sites by working directly with clients and partners

The successful candidate will have:

– Excellent, W3C Standards compliant (X)HTML and CSS knowledge and experience

– Experience with Javascript and jQuery

– Knowledge of User Interface best practices

– Great attention to detail

– Preference to working as part of a team

Extra consideration will be given to a candidate with:

– Experience working with version control systems (Mercurial)

– Talent to expand the role into designing layouts

– A true dislike of Joomla

Candidates who meet the required criteria will be interviewed via Skype text chat. Shortlisted candidates will then be asked to come in for a face to face interview and a 4-6 hour test to create HTML/ CSS from a Photoshop document using a text editor.
