Background and Context
The Finance Clerk supports the finance unit by facilitating signing, collection and follow-up of payments to clients .
Duties and responsibilities
  1. Facilitate signing of financial documents.
  2. Issuance of cheques and follow-up with clients on collection of the same.
  3. Manage the finance unit front desk by responding to routing queries.
  4. Facilitate receipt of incoming/outgoing correspondence.
  5. Retrieve, copy and file financial information from various sources.
  6. Maintenance of a proper filing system for financial records and documents.
Qualifications
Education
  1. Secondary Education.
  2. Training in Accounting, Finance or related fields.
Experience
  1. Experience undertaking similar functions.
  2. Experience in clerical work will be an added advantage.
  3. Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages and knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages.
Language requirements
  • Fluency in English and Kiswahili.
