Systems Administrator

Description:

To Provide reliable, secure and readily available information systems (which include databases, operating systems, application systems and the supporting infrastructure) in consultation with systems vendors where necessary in order to ensure consistent and reliable IS Services.

The role has the responsibility to perform systems control, monitoring, evaluation, analysis and recommend areas of support improvements including recommendation of tools, minor systems modifications and upgrades in order to improve efficiency, productivity and create value add to the IT services.

The role has the responsibility for consultation to IS development section and the business to provide technical support to all IS Business application projects to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Expenditure Manager

Defining and implementing Accounts Payable Strategy for the Kenya Airways Group by managing the company’s accounts Payable Ledgers and the proper accounting of expenditure in compliance with sound accounting principles and company policies.

Management of working capital strategy and creditors average days for the group by ensuring that creditor funding is maximized; while paying all creditors with agreed terms, only for expenditure that is valid and authorized.

Commercial Planning Manager  

 
Plan for procurement and supply of all commercial and inflight materials to maintain optimal stock holding and ensure availability of stocks across the KQ network

Intern – Information Systems

The purpose of the Program is to provide an opportunity for university and college students to become familiar with the operations of Kenya Airways, and to acquire work experience at the professional level through on-the-job training during vacations before resuming your studies
