Extraction & Ventilation Technician

 

Unighir Ltd., specializing in designing of professional kitchens and providing high quality catering equipment within East Africa is looking to an Extraction & Ventilation Technician.

 

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Service Sales Manager, the Extraction & Ventilation Technician’s main role will be to design, install and carry out repair & maintenance on commercial kitchen ventilation, air conditioning and extraction systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Commercial Kitchen Extraction system design and installation
2. Ducting design and installation
3. Design and installation of Air Conditioning systems
4. Diagnose, repair & maintain Extraction, Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems

Requirements

1. Minimum 10 years experience in the field
2. Know how on how to calculate airflows and determine fan sizes and specs
3. Ability to work within a team
4. Relationship building skills
