Kikuyu Water Company Ltd is incorporated under the Companies Act (Cap.486) and is an agent appointed by Athi Water Services Board (AWSB) for the efficient and economical provision of water and sewerage services within Kikuyu Township and its environs.
The Company wishes to recruit a qualified candidate to fill the vacant post of a Procurement Officer. Reporting to Finance & Admin. Manager, the Procurement Officer is expected to add value to Company’s operations through the Procurement section and will be responsible for Planning and coordination of procurement services; implementing and enforcing procurement policies and regulations and taking control of procurement processes.
Desired Qualifications
- At least a Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies Management or its approved equivalent from a recognized institution; Knowledge of Public Procurement and Disposal Act and Regulations;
- Member of CIPS or KISM;
- Familiarity with chain processes and procedures;
- At least three (3) years practical experience in procurement;
- Mastery of modern computer application skills;
- Good interpersonal and public relationship
