Front Office Receptionist

Position: Front Office Receptionist
Nairobi Kenya 
Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Welcome visitors/customers, and direct them to the respective offices.
  • provide first positive image of the company.
  • Handle switchboard by answering, screening and directing calls.
  • Support departments in making external calls.
  • Take and relay messages including fax messages to relevant department.
  • Receive and dispatch mails to the respective departments.
  • Create and maintain contact lists by regularly updating the customer database.
  • Ensure the front office is tidy and clean at all times.
  • In liaison with the Accounts Department, ensure all authorized cheques are collected by calling the respective suppliers and remittance advice sheets returned to the Accountant.
  • Providing necessary information and assure a discreet but efficient filtering and maintaining reception.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the management.
Qualifications
  • A Certificate/Diploma in Front Office or Office Administration, Public Relations or Marketing.
  • At least one year experience in similar position at a busy organization
  • Should be computer literate and a team player
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Understand the necessity of confidentiality
  • Ability to work with diversity and stress tolerance
Employment type: Full time and PermanentRemuneration

Gross salary would be between Kshs 25,000 – 30,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
