E- Learning Technology Executive
Longhorn Publishers is in pursuit of strengthening her e.learning division and wishes to recruit a strong and dynamic E- Learning Technology Executive to support this initiative.Job Description

  • Support e-learning management system to enable the company achieve e.Learning objectives.
  • Design and package for distribution of e-products on CD/DVD media and other emerging platforms.
  • Collaborate with other IT personnel to ensure system updates are implemented and programming changes are completed in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with e.Learning team to identify needs, develop learning strategies and validate courseware.
  • Research, design and develop of various digital platforms
  • Develop and maintain various online payment platforms
  • Convert content into a format which can be  used in Learning Management System (LMS) platform
  • Develop in house e.Learning training material in consultation with various business units
  • Customize and upgrade LMS to meet various stakeholder needs

Job Specifications
  • For appointment to this position, the candidate must have;
  • Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology or equivalent
  • 3 years experience in programming environment preferably content development
  • Microsoft Certified System developer
  • Understanding / experience of eLearning management systems
  • Working knowledge of web authoring/development tools,  PHP, Java , multi-file Flash applications, content management and SQL server
  • Self-driven with a passion for learning and training
  • Working knowledge of e.Learning standards, including: Aviation Industry Computer-Based Training Committee (AICC), and Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM)
