Business Development Exec at Blue Eyes Limited

Blue Eyes Limited, an advertising agency in Kenya seeks to recruit young, dynamic and aggressive personnel to the position of Business Development Exec. 
The personnel must have a proven track record and must have at least 3 years work experience in an advertising agency or related marketing organization.

Title: Business Development Exec 
Reports: Business Development Mgr
Scope: Their efforts are geared towards generating new business for BEL. Builds business by identifying and selling prospects; maintaining relationships with clients. 
The executive must be good at handling multiple clients and have very good customer relations skills.
Executive Job Duties: 
  • Identifying Leads and business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry 
  • Sales creation and existing account deepening by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospective clients and recommending solutions and providing quotations. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance Researching market trends, recommending new opportunities
  • Identify new markets; 
  • Gather market and customer information and provide feedback on customer trends Product improvements to ensure that BEL remains current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors. 
  • Recommending profit and service improvements. 
  • Managing clients’ database and filing system. 
  • Networking through various channels including meetings, training sessions, networking events and seminars Feedback on client performance and analyzing sales opportunities 
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Supporting and complimenting the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Meeting individual set targets and review self sales performance with the view of exceeding expectations set
  • Compilation of the weekly sales reports that indicate the sales conversation rate to be reviewed by the Head of Business Development.

Education & professional requirements:
  • Degree in Sales and Marketing or any other business related course/higher diploma in sales with a minimum 4 year proven sales track record.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have worked in an advertising agency or any similar marketing agency.
Hours per week
Full Time: 30+ hours
