The Agricultural Finance Corporation [AFC] is a State Corporation whose objective is to provide quality and sustainable customer focused financial services for the development of the agricultural sector in Kenya. 

In order to achieve this objective, the Corporation seeks to recruit qualified and experienced Drivers.
 
Job Title: Driver
Job Grade: G2
 
Job Purpose
Drive and maintain AFC vehicles to ensure safety of staff during transportation.

Representative Tasks

  1. Drive the staff members on official duty and ensure their safety while on transit
  2. Report any incidences such as accidents, breakdowns, theft e.t.c that may occur on the assigned vehicles to ensure that timely and appropriate action is taken
  3. Maintain the vehicles’ running log records to ensure accurate and up to date vehicle running records
  4. Clean and maintain the assigned vehicle[s] and ensure that insurance certificates are valid in order to prevent damage or loss of vehicle.
Specifications
  • Minimum Ordinary Level certificate C-
  • Valid driving license free from endorsements
  • GOK Trade test II in Motor vehicle mechanics
  • Drivers Occupational Test II
  • Certificate of good conduct
  • AA certificate of competency for drivers
  • 3 years satisfactory experience gained after obtaining the driving license
