Clinical Officer, Community Health Nurses and Medical Laboratory Technologist Jobs at International Fellowship Kenya [INTERFELK]

International Fellowship Kenya [INTERFELK] is a local NGO based in Kisumu. 

We are involved in projects in the areas of Education, HIV/ AIDS Programs, Street Children Rehabilitation and Evangelism. 
We are in the process of establishing a medical clinic in Nyalenda slums in Kisumu County.
We are currently looking for qualified and committed professionals to fill the following positions:
Clinical Officer

1 Post 

Reporting to the Administrator, the Clinical Officer will ensure adherence to the right medical procedures and policies and providing comprehensive and good quality clinical services to patients. He/ She will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the clinic.
 
Academic and professional Requirements:
  • Diploma in clinical medicine and surgery from Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC).
  • Must be registered with the Clinical Officers’ Council with a current practicing license.
  • At least 2 years post-internship experience.
  • Holders of NASCOP certification in HIV/AIDS care and treatment will have an added advantage.
Community Health Nurse
2 Positions

Reporting to the Clinical Officer, the nurse will provide nursing services and public health interventions to patients and to the community.

Academic and professional Requirements:
  • Diploma in the Community Health Nursing from a recognized institution.
  • Registered by the Nursing Council of Kenya.
  • Experience of at least 2 yrs in a similar role.
  • Excellent customer service and counseling skills
Medical Laboratory Technologist
1 Post

Reporting to the Clinical Officer, the Medical Laboratory Technologist will provide accurate, timely and cost effective testing of client’s samples to aid in diagnosis and treatment.

Academic and professional Requirements:
  • Diploma in Medical Laboratory sciences from a recognized institution.
  • Registered by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technologists and Technicians Board (KMLTTB).
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
