Our client is a young dynamic and innovative company in the IT sector involved in the provision of IT services, solutions and systems.
We are looking for energetic, self-driven, intelligent and experienced Java Software Developers.
7 Positions
Key Responsibilities
  • Be a technical expert within the team
  • Ensure delivered software meets functional and non-functional acceptance criteria
  • Ensure delivery of high quality documentation for all systems
  • Lead and mentor junior members of the team
  • Deliver high quality services to the client
Minimum Requirements
  • Java proficiency with at least 3 years of development experience
  • Expertise in Object Oriented analysis and design
  • Experience with message oriented distributed applications
  • Experience with multi-threaded high performance transactional application development
  • Experience developing both client and server side web services on both SOAP and REST
  • Experience with using Weblogic, Tomcat or other Java Application Server for executing applications
  • Experience using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX
  • Experience in the associated frameworks & API’s
  • Understanding of complex database concepts – database design, SQL, stored procedures with particular focus on Oracle, MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
  • Experience with modelling tools and techniques such as UML
  • Strong leadership experience and the ability to mentor other engineers
  • Proven track record in delivering key products and solutions
  • Experience of working in an Agile environment
  • Experience working in the financial industry
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deliver under tight timelines
