SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER-INSURANCE

An enthusiastic self starter with a strong drive to improve existing processes and systems is highly desired. Excellent organizational skills, ability to balance immediate/long term priorities and exceptional multitasking skills are a necessity.

Key objectives will be achieving/improving/exceeding targeted customer service levels, managing inventory levels and targets, and managing supply and demand within the Organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Maintaining a sufficient medical provider   to serve our client.
  • Recruitment of service providers, with contracts and SLA’s.
  • Continuously negotiating to achieve improved prices/discounts, special beneficial partnerships/arrangements.
  • Auditing of suppliers to ensure they keep to SLA’s and contracts.
  • Resolving vendor complaints
  • Fraud management facilitation
  • Conducting research on trends to take advantage of business opportunities
  • Procurement of other administration goods and services- this is a very small portion of our business.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain or related field
  • 2-3 years Supply Chain Planning experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain concepts and application
  • Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills (oral & written)
  • Insurance experience – added advantage
  • ERP system experience – added advantage
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities
  • Professional affiliation certification or certification in progress preferable
