Vacancy: Digital Designers

2 Positions

Purpose of the Position:

This role is responsible for the preparation of text, graphics and/or multimedia presentation deliverables for Dotsavvy clients.

Responsible for creative design, layout, illustration, grammatical editing and visual impact. This role requires ability to interpret and conceptualize client objectives for the digital deliverable(s).

The Digital Designer will lead and manage design projects for web sites, web and mobile apps, and other digital assets.

The Digital Designer will be responsible for a broad range of deliverables – supporting digital marketing campaigns for Dotsavvy’s client initiatives. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong creative flair and experience with digital design and digital marketing in web, mobile and social media. 

The Digital Designer will also need hands on experience developing web sites, social media creatives and mobile apps with a keen understanding of user experience and engagement.

Requirements:

  • 2 to 5 years of design experience – preferably with a Digital Agency
  • Demonstrated web design, interface design, mobile design, social media creatives and traditional media / graphic design skills
  • Experience and application of mobile, web, social media, and app interface and interaction design
  • Excellent command of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign), or similar design software
  • Experience with HTML / HTML5 / CSS development
  • WordPress CMS design and development experience
  • Must have a digital design portfolio to share
  • Experience with video editing is a plus

Vacancy: Social Media Manager

Purpose of the Position:

This position is responsible for developing and executing social media strategies and engagement tactics across multiple channels for our clients.

As a central part of our team, you will be responsible for helping grow our clients brands through social media, and establishing relationships and seeding content through social networks. 
A strong understanding of social media and community trends/technology is a must, as is a keen understanding of the intersection of digital, social and traditional marketing. 

This role is ideal for someone who can pair knowledge and passion for social media channel programs with creative marketing strategies.

We are looking for the following qualities in a candidate:

  • Your success will be measured by how creative and innovative your ideas are, and how well they deliver against client branding and business goals.
  • Assist in the development of metrics to evaluate effectiveness of client social media marketing programs

Requirements:
  • Experience working with digital, creative and media agencies.

Purpose of the Position:

  • In this role, you will design, build, or maintain mobile apps using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media
  • Confer with management or development teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria, or choose solutions.
  • Identify and correct problems uncovered by testing or client feedback
  • Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets industry standards and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
  • Analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
  • Design and develop mobile applications in multiple authoring and scripting languages with an emphasis on the customer experience.
  • Iteratively improve mobile applications through various channels, including deployments and user-interface improvements.
  • Work side-by-side with Digital Designers, leveraging multimedia content creation applications and digital media to continuously strive for the best customer experience(s).
  • Provide expert-level knowledge to business partners in writing, designing and improving content of mobile applications.
  • Ability to develop quickly and with high quality via Sprints under the SCRUM methodology.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, stakeholders and development teams in prioritizing and building requirements for successful delivery.
  • Own your role and development, conducting deep dives into potential issues with an eye for identifying, solving and correcting problems to limit customer impact.
  • Insist on a high standard of software development in production releases.

Vacancy: User Experience Architect

Purpose of the Position:

Do you have a passion for creating websites and mobile applications that are intuitive, usable, and elegant?

As a User Experience (UX) Architect at Dotsavvy, you’ll work with Application Developers and Digital Designers to map out and deliver well-defined user experiences. 

In addition, you’ll use your knowledge of research principles to conduct usability research and reviews.

We are looking for the following qualities in a candidate:

  • Create information architecture diagrams, user experience workflow diagrams, wireframes, proof-of-concepts, and interactive prototypes
  • Create holistic design solutions that address business, brand, and user requirements
  • Effectively communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale, and the specifics of user centered design process
  • Foster collaboration and present cohesive interaction, design, and user experience approaches to a non-design audience
  • Ensure consistency between the various customer-facing platforms created by Dotsavvy
  • Work in partnership with business stakeholders, graphic designers, and developers to design end-to-end experiences using participatory and iterative design techniques
  • Act as a UX evangelist, ensuring others understand the value of UX activities and help develop and drive user experience strategy
  • Stay up to date with new technologies and trends in the web design space
Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree or similar experience in Interaction Design, Psychology, or a related field
  • A minimum of two years of related work experience in interaction design, user interface design, and user experience research
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including business development, product management, and engineering
  • Strong ability to create information architecture diagrams, user experience workflow diagrams, wireframes, proof-of-concepts, and interactive prototypes
  • Familiarity with user interface guidelines and best practices for major platforms (iOS, Android, web) and an understanding of the limitations and tradeoffs of using various development technologies and standards (XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, etc.)
  • Ability to create pixel-level mockups and/or clickable high fidelity prototypes based on an existing style guide, using tools such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, etc
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a highly collaborative team to listen effectively, to respect others’ perspectives and contributions, and to offer and accept feedback openly
  • Outstanding verbal and written presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to quickly adapt the content to the audience
  • Organized, able to think beyond what is asked for, and able to juggle multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced, often evolving environment
