Data Analyst at Opportunity Kenya
The Data Department is looking for a Data Analyst to be based at the Head Office.
Reporting to the Data Processing Coordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Accurate posting and authorization of any documentation processed in the branches or head office.
- Analysis and correction of reported data errors.
- Regular checks on suspected errors eg credit balances, accounts overdrafts.
- Verification of documentation required to post transactions in the system as per policy.
- Maintain up to date data in the system and report back to DPC and/or branches in cases of obsolete or inaccurate data.
- Preparation of all support documents and reports (journal vouchers, UTRs) during data processing.
- Sending relevant reports to Management and branches on a timely basis as required.
- File all data processing documents.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in a business related course or CPA 2 sec 3
- At least one year experience in a clerical position with exposure to financial data entry
- Proficiency in MS Office packages mainly Excel and Word as well as the internet
- Experience in using a financial application package is an advantage.
