Driver at African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC)

The African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC) is an international non-profit, non-governmental organization committed to conducting high quality and policy relevant research on population and health issues facing sub-Saharan Africa. 

The Center seeks to recruit a Driver.
 

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least an O-level certificate with passes in English and Mathematics
  • Valid driving licence,B,C and E with Class A certification
  • Minimum of at least five years driving experience. Two years with commercial vehicles, buses or mini buses
  • PSV license will be an added advantage
  • Certificate of good conduct or waiting slip
  • Basic Computer skills
Desirable
  • Knowledge of mechanics/preventive maintenance
  • Computer literacy
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Kiswahili
  • Detail oriented, discreet, tactful, courteous
  • Initiative and innovation in assessing situations
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks within a short time
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, and meet deadlines
