SWTL is therefore seeking expand our services and product portfolio in Kenya and is looking to recruit qualified visionary, aggressive and dynamic professionals in the following positions:
Job Title: Stores Administrator

1 Position

The Main purpose of the Stores Administrator at SWTL is to assist in stock management of various security and safety systems and equipment of the company by ensuring tight stock controls are in place and adhered to.

Job Description
  • Ensure the stock items are clean, systematically arranged and labeled in the store and up to date bin-card system is maintained.
  • Ensure proper recording and filing  and authorization of goods returned into the Goods returned Note book, items issued for display, samples and demos, faulty items for repair and replacement  and also ensure delivery notes are attached. 
  • Ensuring that returned goods or purchases  are returned to the counter/shelves
  • Recording of faulty items replaced in the Customer Faulty replacement book and faulty returned back to the faulty warehouse
  • Ensure proper follow up on items issued as faulty for diagnosis, samples, for display, demos and the same returned to store.  
  • Recording the items received from branch in the GRN  and ensure proper authorization
  • Follow up on items received from branch office with accounts for stock adjustments
  • Confirming physical quantity in both branch  MRV and delivery and transfer of the same to HO MRV and ensure proper authorization of both
  • Ensuring that items issued for projects are accompanied with an LPO and are signed for and ensure proper recording in the MRV
  • Confirmation of goods received against the Commercial Invoice
  • Confirming quantity available for inter-company transfers and recording of the same
  • Planning, organizing and carrying out daily and monthly stock take. 
Person Specifications
  • Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies Management, Stores Management
  • 2 year experience in a busy Warehouse/Stores  
  • Proficiency in Computer application- MS Office Suite and ERP Module – Sage Pastel
  • Knowledge of Security Technology products an added advantage
  • Aggressive, Innovative, creative and must have excellent communication skills
Job Title: Sales Executive
1 Position
The main purpose of the Sales Executive at SWTL is to sell Security Products to individual customers and organizations for the company to meet its sales targets and also ensure continual buying of Security systems and products.

Job Description
  • Perform direct sales to walk in clients.
  • Processing all orders received from corporate clients
  • Develop and maintain a customer database
  • Demonstrate company products to current and potential clients
  • Follow up and maintain sales activity records and reports
  • Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships are maintained.
  • Inform customers of new products
  • Maintaining and ensuring up to date Sales records are maintained
  • Co-ordinate deliveries of sold items and collections from courier and ensuring there is less wastage in resources.
  • Handling of customer queries on telephones
  • Ensuring that products on display are clean and in good working condition at all times and also accountable for the same
  • Ensuring payment of products purchased, receipting and invoicing the same
  • Giving technical advice and solutions to clients on the various security and safety systems
  • Housekeeping – Ensuring that the sales work area is clean and tidy.

Person Specifications
  • Diploma in Sales & Marketing or Electronics Engineering with sales experience 
  • At least 2 years experience in Sales preferably technical sales
  • Proficiency in Computer application- MS Office Suite and ERP – Sage Pastel
  • Knowledge of Security Technology products an added advantage
  • Aggressive, Innovative, creative and must have excellent communication skills
Job Title: Distribution Assistant
2 Positions
The Main purpose of the Distribution Assistant at SWTL is to support the delivery and distribution function of the inventory from the Sales and Stores to the customer through well planned channels of distribution that maximizes efficiency and economizes resources. 
The Distribution Assistant will also be in-charge of Maintenance of company fleet (motor cycles & motor vehicles).

Job Description
  • Ensure on time delivery of the various products sold to customers.  
  • Ensuring accuracy of products against invoices and/ delivery notes before delivery.
  • Under direction of the Procurement & Logistics Officer co-ordinate delivery and collection of goods/parcels to and from the other SWTL regional offices.
  • Service & maintenance of all company fleet by ensuring that they are clean and  in proper working condition.
  • Ensure insurance and inspection are carried out on timely basis. 
  • Ensure timely payments of monthly vehicle parking fees to city council and yearly branding licenses for all vehicles
  • Ensure safe custody of all motor vehicle/cycle keys.
  • Gathering market intelligence information during delivery and sharing with the business development department.
  • Offering advice to customers on Security and safety systems.
  • Advice the management on any malfunctions in the distribution process
  • Protect the image of the company at all times in the course of duty
  • Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction through prompt and efficient service   
Person Specifications
  • O level Certificate with at least C+ any other profession certification an added advantage. 
  • 30 years and above
  • Over 5 years experience as a competent Driver
  • Possession of a valid driving License and a certificate of good conduct
  • Be computer literate and well conversant with the traffic regulations and codes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Can work independently and timely
Job Title: Office Assistant 
1 Position
The Main purpose of the Office Assistant at SWTL is to support the Administrative function of the Company.

Job Description
  • Restrooms – Cleans and disinfects sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, etc. Replenishes restroom supplies.
  • Polishing metalwork, dusting and waxing fixtures and fittings.
  • Floors – Sweeps, mops, vacuums, floors using brooms, mops and vacuum cleaners.
  • Other floor work may be required such as: scrubbing, waxing and polishing floors.
  • Dust  furniture, equipment, partitions, window sills, skirting, stair cases etc.
  • Trash –  Empties wastebaskets to disposal area.
  • Kitchenettes – Cleans and disinfects sinks, countertops, tables, chairs, refrigerators, etc. 
  • Ensure  neatness, presentability  and thoroughness of the work assigned.
  • Cleaning the compound and ensuring good standards of hygiene are maintained, checking and notifying the management on any faults noted.
  • Carrying out a thorough cleaning of the offices every Saturday.
  • Making tea for every member of staff and visitors when called upon and maintain high hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen.
  • Payments of all statutory deductions NSSF, PAYE, VAT and company utility bills when called upon.
  • Collection of mail from the post office
  • Undertaking all other messengerial duties as assigned 
Person Specifications
  • O level Certificate with at least C+ any other professional certification an added advantage. 
  • 25 years and above
  • At least 2 years experience in a professional clean care service provider 
  • Possession of a valid certificate of good conduct
  • Be computer literate
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Can work independently and timely
