Responsibilities: We provide writing services to a global clientele. Therefore, high quality grammar is the key to our success.

We are looking for an expert in the English language to help us maintain high quality grammar standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for checking sample papers submitted by prospective writers and deciding whether to hire the writers or not. S/he will also be required to evaluate writers’ accounts periodically to ensure that high quality standards are maintained. S/he will also proofread written materials that need grammar perfection, e.g., content articles for our websites.

Education and Skills:

  • Degree in any field. A degree in English or any field related to the study of the English language is highly desirable.
  • Excellent grammar. Ability to write Standard English without syntactic or semantic errors is crucial.
  • The successful candidate must be conversant with formal writing styles, particularly academic writing techniques.
  • Computer literate. Candidates must have experience using computers and the internet. They should be conversant with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Word 2007, MS PowerPoint 2007 and MS Excel 2007 applications.
  • A fast leaner. Willingness and ability to learn and apply new ideas quickly is vital.
  • Proactive and self motivated.
  • Straightforward and honest.

Office Cleaner/Messenger

Position: Open till 31st January, 2014 

Number of Positions: 1

Responsibilities: We are looking for an Office Cleaner/Messenger for the company.

The Office Cleaner/Messenger shall be responsible for the general cleanliness of the business premises, and s/he will also be in charge of delivering messages on behalf of the company from time to time as required. The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Run errands on behalf of the company.
  • Undertake banking as may be directed.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the office and business premises.
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies.
  • Assist in filing and documentation.
  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Education and Skills:

  • High School education (KCSE)
  • Competent computer skills including MS Office or equivalent
  • Basic Internet skills including use of e-mails, group messaging and information gathering.
  • Numerical and literacy skills.
  • Must be clean and reliable.
  • Trust worthy and streetwise.
  • Previous office experience is an added advantage.
