The Standard Group comprises, The Standard Newspapers, Game Yetu, KTN, Radio Maisha, PDS, Standard Digital and Think Outdoor Services. 
The Group is looking for a highly motivated, qualified, experienced and reputable team player to fill the following position:

Creative Designer

Key Responsibilities

You will be:
  • A brilliant conceptual designer with great experience across multimedia, ready to work ¡n a busy marketing environment.
  • You have vision and ideas in abundance and you love to see concepts come to life
  • You have a versatile style and attitude which is clean and clear
  • A guru in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator and able to turn your hand to pen and paper and to do the odd great copy line
  • A confident communicator, able to present ideas and concepts at all levels
  • Flexible, friendly, committed, happy and ready for real challenge
Qualification and Experience
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Design, Communication Art, or a field equivalent field experience
  • Able to work on Mac OS X, Windows and different software: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat Professional
  • Minimum experience of 3 years in similar job
  • Detail oriented, flexible, self-motivated and meeting deadlines
  • Must have and trouble shooting and organizational skills
  • Fast turn around and creative judgment
  • Hands on experience in newspaper, TV advertising or magazine design will be an added advantage.
