The Marketing Communication and Social Media Manager is responsible for the marketing voice, inspiration and editorial content, email communication and social media for Mzoori. The candidate will have a high level of exposure to multiple functions to ensure that all initiatives are launched and completed in a timely manner with aligned goals, and executed with the highest degree of accuracy and effectiveness.
 
Job description and Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement content marketing strategy that translates business and marketing goals into meaningful content deliverables
-Manage the content development process from end to end working with both internal and external content contributors and creative resources
-Establish and manage work flow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring content
-Create and maintain a functional editorial calendar for marketing content
-Manage the inspirational and editorial sections of Mzoori’s site (mzoori.com)
-Serve as Mzoori’s content marketing expert by maintaining a pulse on the latest issues, developments and trends in content marketing and social media
-Reviews work of other content writing staff to ensure adherence to established guidelines
-Manage Mzoori’s various social media pages and day-to-day social media activities for, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+ and YouTube
-Manage development, execution and production of Mzoori’s Newsletter campaigns
-Manage development, execution and production of Mzoori’s Blog
-Develop and expand Mzoori’s online communities and outreach efforts through segmentation marketing
-Assure that all content is optimized for search engines, sharing and distribution across channels
-Establishes standards, best practices and brand voice for product content
-Manage social media strategy and deployment of content across key social channels
-Grow Social traffic using segmentation and programmatic marketing   

Job Requirements

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:

-3-5 years of hands on experience in marketing communications, email and/or social media
-Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field
-Proven track record of success in driving content strategy across channels, including social media and email
-Stellar writing and proofreading skills (writing samples required)
-Master project manager with proven skills in overseeing content projects and multiple priorities to meet deadlines
-Knowledge of SEO best practices
-Exceptional quantitative skills to analyze marketing campaign results and recommend strategies for improvement
-Effective written and verbal communication skills and outstanding attention to detail
-Should be self-motivated, results-oriented, entrepreneurial, passionate, proactive, creative and a team player
-Ability to flourish in an extremely fast-paced, high-growth environment with minimal direction
-Strong relationship building, leadership and project management skills
 
 
Salary:
Salary is competitive based on experience.
