Requirements
  • Communicate key processes and handle key communications across the business (e.g. merit increase, performance management, mid-year review, on-boarding processes, etc).
  • Evaluate and improve the effectiveness and impact of HR initiatives.
  • People & Business goals. Partner with line management to model, shape and assess an organizational culture that supports the achievement of business objectives.
  • Partners with key stakeholders and customers to develop and implement HR solutions to meet their business needs.
  • Leads the development and implementation of talent management initiatives and programs to increase organizational effectiveness; and leverages the strengths and capabilities of new and existing employees.
  • Responsible for the implementation of leadership development, staffing, diversity, employee relations, and the performance management and review processes within assigned client group.
  • Conducts, facilitates and follows through on investigations that support the fair and equitable treatment of employees, recommending appropriate resolutions.
  • Leverages organizational policies and procedures or employment/labor laws to resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Lead individual, team and organizational developmental efforts necessary to achieve the business goals.
  • Ensure all compliance issues are addressed to include OSHA, Safety & Health audits, Fire safety and audits + trainings
  • Design & execute an efficient and effective recruitment process which employs the right pool of candidates
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and execution through participation and consultation with employees and management to ensure continuity of productive working relationships across the organization
Key Success Factors: Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills
  • 5+ years of experience and currently working in a HR managerial position
  • Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem solving skills
  • Should be a critical thinker and self-driven
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills; high quality document and report preparation
  • Experience working in a BPO will be an added advantage
  • Strong grasp of Kenyan labor & employment laws
