Our client, a digital agency offering flexible ICT web solutions in web design, web based Monitoring and Evaluation (M & E) systems and reporting tools, mobile web applications, domain registration, web hosting, social media and internet marketing and other web design services, is looking to fill the following positions:

Finance & Administration Manager

Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning and oversight of all company financial operations. She/ he will assist in setting company priorities, strategic planning and operational responsibilities and supervise the administrative assistant and consultants and serve as a primary interface with the Board of Directors on financial and company administrative matters.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the Finance function including General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Petty Cash, Bank Reconciliations etc
  • Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with the directors; administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes and keep senior leadership team abreast of the organization’s financial status
  • Implement a robust contracts and financial management/ reporting system; ensure that the contract billing and collection schedule is adhered
  • Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices
  • Oversee status of company investments; work with Investment Committee and make recommendations to management
  • Oversee administrative functions as well as facilities to ensure efficient and consistent operations as the organization scales.
  • Manage payroll and staff benefits including leave management and insurance covers (enrollments, terminations, renewal of policies)
  • Oversee office administrative functions. Ensure efficient provision of office services and the working environment.
  • Maintain good working relationships with vendors, banks, insurance brokers, investment brokers and external auditor

Required qualifications, skills and attributes:        

  • Degree in Accounting , ideally with an MBA or related degree
  • CPA (K)
  • At least 7-10 years of overall professional experience; ideally 6+ years of broad financial and operations management experience
  • Ability to translate financial concepts to effectively collaborate with colleagues who do not necessarily have a finance background
  • Commitment to training programs that maximize individual and organization goals across the organization including best practices in human resources activities
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize and negotiate
  • Expert in QuickBooks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and other software applications.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Must have the ability to think and take decisions
  • Must be a team player and should be self motivated
  • Should possess excellent negotiation skills.
  • Should possess strong presentation skills.

Sales & Marketing Manager

Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities. Ensure quarterly and annual sales targets are met and perform revenue forecasts and win/loss reports that illustrate the team’s overall performance against quota. This role has critical responsibilities in client acquisition, customer satisfaction and client retention. The manager must have the skills to analyze work flow, evaluate systems and formulate plans.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Set objectives – Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Manage sales department – Provide leadership to the day-to-day operations of the sales & CRM department, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals by recruiting, coaching, counselling, advising, supporting and motivating the team.
  • Innovation: Generate and deploy innovative tests and promotions that have the opportunity to significantly improve profitability and human impacts.
  • Develop and Manage all marketing, promotional and advertising activities
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies to optimize use of technology within the company.
  • Senior responsibility for all Trade Accounts Receivables.  Monitor A/R aging on a proactive basis with her/his team, coordinating with the Accounts Department
  • Continuous regular monitoring of clients’ situations and identification of issues, problems or potential problems. This includes regular written and verbal communication with the clients, including adherence to specific communication programs based on client size and firm policy.
  • Work with all departments to ensure customer success and retention.

Required qualifications, skills and attributes:                    

  • Bachelors degree in a business related field, MBA is highly desirable,
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a sales capacity,  3 + years Account Management/Client Relationship Management Experience
  • Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • The ability to inspire, motivate and lead a team
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Understanding of basic business terms.

Sales Executive

Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, the successful candidates will be responsible for:

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Pursuing opportunities for account growth and new business, involving the Sales & Marketing Manager, Sales or other company support.
  • Providing timely feedback to senior management regarding performance i.e. prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
  • Preparing proposals, presentations and sales contracts
  • Producing weekly, monthly and quarterly status reports on performance against targets.
  • Working closely with the project team in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project.

Required qualifications, skills and attributes:

  • At least three years’ experience in a sales role.
  • Proficiency in computer application packages.
  • Thorough understanding of financial, marketing and sales principles
  • Excellent business presentation and selling skills
  • Business development and analysis skills
  • Proactive team player with initiative
  • Excellent oral, written and communication skills
  • Ability to review sales initiatives implemented to ensure efficiency, effectiveness & growth in uptake of products/revenues.
  • Ability to influence/advise customers on the company’s products and services
