Inventory Nurse, Radiology Registrar, Obstetrics and Gynecology Registrar, Human Resource Manager at The Mater Hospital
The Mater Hospital is seeking to fill the following positions:
1. Registrar in Radiology
The candidate will work under the Senior Radiologists and administratively the report to the Director of Medical Services.
Qualification Required:
- • Masters in Radiology.
- • Registered with the Medical and Dental Board.
Experience: In all modalities including MRI.

2. Obstetrics and Gynecology Registrar
The candidate will work under the supervision of the Consultants at the Division to support them in the provision of all aspects of the services.
Administratively the position will report to the Director of Medical Services.
Qualification Required:
- Masters in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- ACLS Certification.
- The post holder must be able to demonstrate flexibility in their commitment to the Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology and in the performance of their duties
3. Human Resource Manager
Reports to: Director, Operations & Administration
Job Purpose: Provide Strategic Direction to the Human Resource function to help the Hospital develop a strong, highly competent and highly motivated workforce.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and implement strategic HR policies to ensure effective, fair and consistent management of staff.
- Develop and implement comprehensive organizational performance management framework for the Hospital that assures highest performance system and clear basis for merit based reward and career progression.
- Develop a system for effective generation and analysis of HR statistics and reports and monitor HR metrics
Job Specifications
- Master’s Degree in Human Resource or MBA in Human Resource or Strategic Management Bachelors in Commerce or Business Administration (Human Resource Option)
Professional
- Higher National Diploma in Human Resources Management and a Member of IHRM.
Experience
- At least 10yrs experience of human resource practice, 3 of which should be at level of HR Management in a busy institution
4. Inventory Nurse
Reports to: Procurement Manager
Job Purpose: To be involved in management and planning of the clinical stock; directing and collaborating with users and multidisciplinary professional staff in requisition and distribution of stock.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
- Identify clinical service stock requirements offering technical guidance, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
- Maintains clinical stock inventory by scheduling, initiating, coordinating, and enforcing requisitions and distribution within stipulated policies and procedures.
- Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating stock information and timely response to inquiries
Job Specifications
- Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Diploma in Purchasing & Supplies Management
Or
- Degree in Health Systems Management
Experience
- At least 5yrs working experience in a busy Hospital and two of which must be in stock management.
