Hellofood is the leading online food ordering service in Kenya that allows people to conveniently order meals of their choice from their preferred restaurants, and have them delivered straight to their home / office.

Role Description: The Account Manager is responsible for growing and improving the performance of our restaurant partners. 
The Account Manager ensures the wellbeing of our partners and guarantees a long lasting relationship through being empathetic, observant and extremely well organized. 
The Account Manager acts both as an advisor for vendors who want to get more customers or improve their marketing strategy (both online and offline) but work as sales person.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome call/ meeting to all newly signed partners, ensuring they are educated on the system and how to drive order growth.
  • Provide service to existing accounts.
  • Develop and strengthen Hellofood’s relationships with restaurant partners.
  • Increase the value of Hellofood’s restaurant network.
  • Introduce new Hellofood products and services to existing restaurant partners.
  • Collection of menu / price updates.
  • Assist Marketing Department with marketing requests.
  • To own the geography and have extensive knowledge of delivery restaurants within key areas, with specific focus and regular call-age on the top/developing accounts.
  • To provide feedback trade intelligence as required.
  • Achieve sales targets set out by Management.

Expected Background and Technical Skills
  • University/ Business School degree
  • Fluent in English. 
  • Strong work experience – including a professional work experience, or successful entrepreneurial experience.
  • 2-5 years of Account Management or Sales experience preferred. Experience working with or selling to restaurant owners or small business owners is a major plus. Restaurant experience is also a plus.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, in particular Excel ; Google products) with the ability to quickly learn new software
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar toolset
