Responsibilities
:
  • Participate in all HIV/AIDS meetings, record all proceedings and circulate to all partners/stakeholders.
  • Produce and send out documents/materials to partners/stakeholders.
  • Assist in verification of receipts submitted by program workers, partners/stakeholders.
  • Track partner reporting requirements in collaboration with the Assistant Director.
  • Conduct basic research and documentation for grant proposals
  • Maintain all project files and databases in collaboration with IT manager and the assistant Director.
  • File (electronic and hard) and retrieve project documents, reports and  meeting minutes
  • Assist in organizing workshops in terms of logistics, venue, booking, procurement of workshop materials and preparing the folders.
  • Attend support group meetings.
  • Supervise the daily activities of the community health volunteers and community mobilization officer
  • Ensure that all income generating projects for clients are sustainable and manned properly.
  • Initiate Income Generating Activities (IGAs) for clients
  • Communicate material and cash needs to assistant Director/finance manager in a timely manner
  • Preparing, typing and photocopying official documents as directed
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Social Sciences, Development studies, Public Health, and other relevant fields
  • At least 1 year experience in community-based health projects, preferably in HIV/AIDS. Previous experience working for an NGO is an added advantage
  • Good interpersonal communication, training and facilitation skills
  • Good written and spoken English skills, competency in Swahili will be an advantage
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member and with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with and commitment to gender equity and diversity
  • Excellent computer skills and familiarity with email etiquette communication tools. Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency required
  • Impressive report writing skills
