We are growing quickly. In six years, we have grown to serve 135,000 farm families with more than 1,000 full-time field staff.

Job Description

One Acre Fund is piloting a safe water project in two of our districts in partnership with Dispensers for Safe Water, an Evidence Action subsidiary. 

We are seeking a Chlorine Dispenser Project Associate to manage our circuit rider delivery system as a part of our chlorine dispenser program in Kakamega North, Kakamega South, and Butere. 
The CD Project Associate will manage our Circuit Riders (CR’s) and Customer Engagement Officer, track inventory and deliveries, manage our dispenser database, deploy staff for repairs and maintenance as needed, ensure quality control of trainings, and other relevant duties.

Primary Duties
 

1. Management: oversee and manage three (3) Circuit Riders (CR) and one (1) Customer Engagement Officer, including performance management, tracking deliverables, and capacity development.
2. Inventory Management: manage deliveries and transfers of chlorine from supplier to field stores to field staff and sites. Responsible for maintaining accurate records using stock cards, tracking tools, and an MS Excel database. Other duties include; safe keeping of stock cards, delivery notes, and auditing of CR inventory management tools on a weekly basis.
3. Database Management: manage CD Database in MS Excel by aggregating data from customer hotline with field report data from CR’s to ensure we have an up-to-date record of the status of all 1300 dispensers. Monthly reports on dispenser use and circuit system will be expected.
4. Quality Control: ensure quality control by overseeing Customer Engagement Officer’s SMS records and analyzing responses. Responsible for weekly field spot checks and quality control visits.
5. Systems Collaboration: work closely with Systems Team to ensure;  warehouse standards are met, stores are ready for physical counts by internal auditors, stock cards are scanned and sent to HQ weekly, monthly reports on stock movement are submitted, etc.
6. Procurement: place quarterly orders of the chlorine supply needed to fill all dispensers through close collaboration with Procurement and Logistics Teams.
7. Field Operations: work closely with promoters and field staff to ensure quality delivery of talking points, continued engagement and community education on value of chlorine dispenser use, and other operational requirements that may arise. This includes managing delivery and tracking of incentives for promoters, spot checks, etc.
