Clinical Nurses, Maintenance Team Leader, Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi

The Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi, (AKUH,N) a premier tertiary teaching hospital, is fast growing with a network of over 30 multi-site medical centres in East Africa and a state-of-the-art Heart and Cancer Centre in Nairobi.
The Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi invites applications for the positions below:

Maintenance Team Leader 
The Maintenance Team Leader will carry out activities relating to facilities maintenance of equipment and systems management. 

This will include routine maintenance, technical inspection, acceptance testing, third party service supervision and contract monitoring. 

S/he will be involved in new capital equipment pre-purchase, technical appraisal, timely complete Preventive Maintenance (PPM) for HVAC system/equipment and ensuring uptime as per policy coupled with annual facilities upgrade and replacement plans.
Applicants should have a Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning with at least five years’ experience in a similar position. 
S/he should be computer literate with excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills. 
S/he must be registered and/or eligible for registration with the Engineering Board of Kenya. 
Knowledge of technical functioning and maintenance of electrical HV/LV distribution, switchgear and controls, diesel generators, water pumps will be an added advantage

Clinical Nurse, Dialysis
The Dialysis Nurse will provide specialized care for patients with acute and chronic kidney failure who are undergoing Hemodialysis or Peritoneal Dialysis. 
He/she will also provide other supportive therapies such as counseling
Applicants should have a Diploma in Nursing (KRN or KRCHN) from an accredited School of Nursing and a Certificate or experience in provision of Dialysis services 
S/he should have current licensure with the Kenya Nursing Council and a minimum of 2-4 years of continuous clinical nursing experience in a Dialysis or Critical Care Unit

Clinical Nurse, Mental Health
The Mental Health Nurse will be responsible for assessing mental health needs, developing care plans for patients, administering and monitoring effectiveness of treatment regimen. 
S/he will assist in development of policies and procedures for Mental Health, and will also provide clinical support and training for the other nurses.
Applicants should have a Diploma in Nursing (KRN or KRCHN) from an accredited School of Nursing and a Diploma in Psychiatry Nursing. 
S/he should have current licensure with the Kenya Nursing Council and a minimum of 2-4 years of continuous clinical nursing experience in a Mental Health Unit.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for providing effective Nuclear Medicine Services including preparing and administering radioactive chemical compounds, performing patient imaging procedures using sophisticated radiation-detecting instrumentation and providing images, data analysis, and patient information to the physician for diagnostic interpretation. 
S/he will perform quality control on gamma camera and DXA scanners and report any faults as well as maintain inventory of pharmaceuticals ensuring all supplies are available.
Applicants should possess a Bachelors or Diploma in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Diploma in Medical Imaging Science plus relevant training in the field of Nuclear Imaging.
S/he must have at least one year relevant experience and should be registered with the Radiation Protection Board
