Medical Officer, Operations Manager at AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF – Kenya)

AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF – Kenya) is a legally registered not-for-profit Kenyan NGO with incorporation by AHF Global who’s headquarters is in Los Angeles, US. 

AHF Kenya collaborates with the Kenyan Government,  partner institutions and civil society to provide HIV Prevention, Treatment and Care in Kenya. 
To meet the above  needs, AHF Kenya wishes to recruit dynamic, skilled, committed and self driven individuals to fill the following  positions:
 
1. Medical Officer
Location: Nairobi
 

Key Responsibilities

The medical officer is a combination of leadership and clinical care position including:
  • Provides clinical care in conjunction with other team members
  • Ensures provision of high quality care and service delivery at the center
  • Responsible for patient chart review and peer review
  • Serves as AHFs advocate at the site level
Qualifications, Education and Experience
  • Medical Degree MBchB, KMPDB Licence
  • Minimum of at least 3 years experience providing clinical care including CCC and TB management
  • Experience in leading a team and building capacity in resource-limited settings, an added advantage
  • Leadership, supervisory and team management skills
  • Proficiency in use of information technology
2. Operations Manager
Location: Nairobi
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Manages the operational implementation & oversight for the country program, including administration, logistics, procurement, budgeting and financial management.
  • Ensure efficient operations of the program’s finance, human resource and administrative systems to support and facilitate the attainment of program goals among other duties.
Qualifications, Education and Experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Financial Management or Full Professional qualification
  • Additional qualification in leadership and management
  • Minimum 5 years experience at the national level in office management, finance, budget, accounting, human resources, supplies/procurement or administration at senior level
  • Experience working in healthcare delivery systems is an added advantage
  • Proven leadership, supervisory and team management skills
  • Proficiency in use of information technology
  • Must be able to travel 50% of the time
