We are hiring! 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Coordinator working with the Operations team.
Purpose Statement: Reporting to the Production Manager, the incumbent will be required to maintain and manage accurate and up to date Factory Information Systems to facilitate informed decision making by managers which shall translate to process improvement.

Principles Accountabilities

  • Analyze and monitor process data and assist the manufacturing team to continuously improve their processes in the fields of operations target per shift, waste and housekeeping.
  • Compile performance reports on various process data and ensure accuracy and completeness of the reports before circulation to management.
  • Generate and maintain periodic backups for all information systems working within the factory.
  • Liaise with third parties supervisors on shift to ensure delivery of factory services such housekeeping, palletizing and waste recovery.
  • Accurately interpret production plan and timely escalation of production issues.
  • Coordinate with other Supply Chain parties involved in stocks management to ensure that stocks are well managed while ensuring that teams in the factory get accurate and timely feedback from analysis of process data.
  • Provide administrative support i.e mark attendance and crewing, prepare meals allowance and overtime request.
  • Accurately capture process data, interpret production plan, down time logs and ensure timely supply of production materials to the factory.
  • Obtain benchmarking information and encourage idea generation by the teams and participate in phasing out and implementation of viable innovations.
  • Provide leadership during the brand change process and ensure accurate completion of plan.
  • Manage the maintenance of the both electronic and paper data for the factory. 
Essential Requirements
  • Graduate engineer, preferably Mechanical/Electrical/ Industrial Engineering.
  • At least two years of manufacturing experience.
  • Thorough understanding of manufacturing processing, quality measurements and specification procedures.
  • Critical analysis, problem solving and reporting skills.
  • Exposure to Lean methods and Analysis tools
  • Good communication and leadership skills
