Key Responsibilities

 
The key responsibilities include:
  • Identify and qualify leads by cold calling prospective corporate clients with a view to secure a minimum of but not limited to 6 face-to-face new business meetings per week.
  • Follow up all incoming leads, determining the best way of establishing contact with the client to establish their needs and present an appropriate corporate solution
  • Presentations  to prospective clients and the employees of prospective corporate clients
  • Work in cooperation with other marketers to identify potential clients and to resource new meetings with decision makers
  • Able to communicate clearly and succinctly (both in writing and verbally) in a variety of communication settings and styles.
  • Demonstrated results-driven, pro-active and committed approach to work
  • Ability to negotiate with and influence corporate business decision makers.
  • High level interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to people at all levels and from different facets of life
  • Adheres to an appropriate and effective set of core values and beliefs during both good and bad times, acts in line with IRES values.
  • Gathering market and customer information intelligence
Other Essential Skills
  • Demonstrated success in selling goods or services in a corporate environment
  • Have a pool of corporate leads to generate immediate business
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to the implementation of a sales plan
  • Well developed IT skills, and in particular with the MS Office suite of products
Education Background and Experience
  • Degree holder in Bachelor of Commerce or Business Administration with a bias in Marketing.
  • Should have attained at least a mean grade of C+ in KCSE
  • Must be above 30 years of age
  • At least 5 years experience in Corporate sales and marketing
  • Proven track record in corporate/B2B sales and marketing
  • Ability to work independently, within a team and under pressure
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of B2B lead generation
