Sales Manager IT
Job Purpose 

To implement the sales strategy through increasing sales capacity and providing sales solutions while achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities will include:-

  • Maintaining and updating a database of existing and potential clients
  • Determining clients’ business requirements and advising them on appropriate solutions
  • Developing sales proposals
  • Identifying sales opportunities and setting up sales meetings

  • Meeting clients and making presentations on products on sale.
  • Following through and closing sales
  • Answering any technical questions about the products
  • Develop and generate new business opportunities and acquisition of new projects and project bids
  • Support management  in evaluating new business opportunities by providing analysis
Knowledge, Competencies and Experience
  • 5years experience in the IT industry particularly in the selling department
  • Bachelor Degree in IT/ ICT or any related field
  • Knowledge in Sales/ Marketing an added advantage
  • Knowledge in Project Planning and Management skills an added advantage
  • Track record of ongoing success in sales and business development with a strong network of contacts and referral base
  • Ability to meet sales targets
Skills Required
  • Excellent technical knowledge and a keen interest in IT and business issues
  • Excellent selling and presentation skills, Time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Results- oriented and self-motivated
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interface with team members as well as executive level management and clients
