Business Development Executive

A research firm in Kenya is looking for a Business Development Executive.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities will include to identify, plan and implement the objectives set by the Management to ensure the organization’s overall effectiveness consultancy and training needs in the market; Your role is broadly defined as predominantly a marketing and sales position, but also an analytical position for an aggressively growing agency that will be competing with major players in the industry.

The roles:

• Work with BDM to develop and implement strategies for new products and services.
• Determine new opportunities by analyzing business needs.
• Increase the company’s involvement with existing client
• Develop and deliver the business plans through carrying out research, formulate
  market analysis and deliver accurate business reports.
• Serve as a facilitator/liaison both internally and externally for projects
• Pro-actively hunt for target organizations and establish communications with those businesses that can benefit from our Company’s services.
• Further develop multi-tier relationships to organically grow the clients’ accounts.
• Build referral and lead generation network
• Work with BDM in Forecasting long and short-range market potential in Africa for Management’s analysis
• Adopt a hands-on approach in monitoring the implementation and execution of marketing programmes
• Ensure your periodic targets are met

Academic and Professional Qualifications

• Must be a holder of a first university degree in business or equivalent from a recognized university;
• Must have at least 1 years’ experience in business development/ customer service with proven people leadership skills;
