Works Engineer

Lewa Wildlife Conservancy (LWC), based in Isiolo Kenya, is an organization which works as a catalyst for the conservation of wildlife and its habitat. 
We invite applications for the position of a Works Engineer to join our Logistics Department. 
This position reports to the Works Manager. The primary purpose of this position is to oversee and coordinate Lewa construction projects.

Requirements include:
  • A Higher Diploma in Building and Civil Engineering
  • Knowledge and proven experience in:
  • Bill of quantities
  • Construction Budgets
  • Project planning and management
  • Building design ( AUTO CAD and Arch CAD is a must)
  • Have basic Knowledge on electrical installations, water engineering and solar power installations.
  • Basic knowledge on borehole sinking and equipping.
  • Be able to support high work pressure loads.
  • Be ambitious, team player, honest, flexible, self-motivated and willing to work unsupervised.
  • Be ready to work with different communities.
  • Have at least 3 years post qualification experience in a similar position.
  • Aged between 25 and 40 years old.
  • Experienced driver.
  • Ready to take up the job immediately.
