Project Summary:
The objective of our project is to provide primary and secondary level of health care to the Refugees in Dagahaley refugee camp. MSF provides a full package of medical care through 4 primary health care units and 1 hospital (100 beds) with 24 hour emergency and OT.
Health services include curative, preventative, nutritional activities and emergency preparedness and intervention with partners.

Health services include curative, preventative, nutritional activities and emergency preparedness and intervention with partners.

Contract duration: 6 months fixed term contract with possibility of extension based on performance.
- Responsible for management of day to day operations and efficient coordination of nutrition program activities in the project
- Provide technical guidance in the planning and implementation of the supplementary and therapeutic feeding programmes
- Lead and supervise team of staff providing nutrition support services in the hospital and in the inpatients therapeutic feeding center
- Plan and coordinate community based nutrition education forums and Annual nutrition surveys
- Ensure staff training and capacity building (formal and informal) under the supervision of the hierarchical referent
- Participate in the development of the plan of action
- Prepare monthly performance indicator reports on the nutrition sector whilst ensuring continuous monitoring
- Support Outpatient nutrition activities whenever needed
- Perform any other nutrition activities as per request or per program evolution
Requirements:
- Nutritionist with diploma/degree from a recognized university
- Must be have a licence to practice in Kenya
- 2 years experience working in a Nutrition programme
- At least one year experience with MSF or other International NGO
- Ability to live and work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.
