Impact Research and Development Organization is a registered Kenyan Non-Governmental Organization with a main office in Kisumu and regional offices in 10 counties of Kenya. 
Its principal mandate is to design, implement and evaluate HIV/AIDS research and intervention programs that improve the health status of individuals  and  local  communities.  
We  are looking for qualified and experienced personnel to fill in the following positions. 

Receptionist
2 Positions

Job Summary: Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities, front office management and related tasks.

Duty Station: Kisumu and Eldoret

Engagement Period: 6 months

Responsibilities and duties

  • Welcoming clients in a friendly manner and responding to their needs.
  • Receiving calls and visitors to the office.
  • Ensuring that office inventory is maintained.
  • Scheduling return appointments, required, for clients after they have been seen or examined.
  • Ensuring that counseling, examination and procedure rooms are ready for use each day as well as after each visit.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Certificate in Secretarial studies.
  • Proficiency in computer application software.
  • 2 years experience in a clinical set-up with a heavy client flow.
  • For Kisumu office – Must have experience working with key populations (MARPS) in any capacity or he/she must have been a Kps.
  • Must be pleasant and have good communication skills.
