An exciting opportunity has risen in the organization in the sales department. 
The incumbent will demonstrate high levels of professionalism and deliver effective strategies to generate results.

Purpose of the job: To generate leads & sales

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advises clients by providing information on products.
  • Helps customer make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions.
  • Documents sale by creating or updating customer profile records.
  • Keeps clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Maintaining sales filing systems.
  • Assisting the Sales Manager to arrange demos, presentations and external events.
  • Taking and presenting minutes for all sales meetings.
  • Working in conjunction with the sales manager in coordinating sales activities.
  • Compiling the weekly sales report.
  • Collate sales planning for the week.
  • Assisting the Sales Manager to compile the monthly sales report.

Job Qualifications and Core Competencies
  • A University Degree in a Business related field/GIS/IT
  • Clear understanding of Google Products (Preferably Google Maps & Earth)
  • Understanding of GIS  (Google Maps & Earth is an advantage)
  • Analytical, an eye for detail and an alertness to blend with a team that is vibrant.
  • Ability to organize, arrange and plan with precision.
  • Flexibility to adapt to dynamic roles within short time frames, within targets and an eye to the ball.
  • You will be a data/ numbers, statistical and graphical person.
