Reporting to the finance officer. The  accountant will be responsible for Preparing monthly performance analysis. Preparation of annual budget for the campus. 
Carrying out variance analysis. Proper management of receipts and payments. Maintenance of the fixed assets register and depreciation schedules

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Posting of vouchers for advances, salary and other deductions.
  • Preparation of cash flows forecasts.
  • Preparation of trial balances.
  • Accounting for recoveries in respect of advances.
  • Issuing cheques for statutory and other deductions.
  • Proper accounting of unpaid salaries and communication of the necessary information to personnel section for follow-up action.
  • Monthly reconciliation of salary, clearances and other suspense accounts
  • Ensuring appropriate safe custody of stores.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor of Commerce degree or its equivalent from a recognized university.
  • CPA (K) or it’s equivalent
  • Satisfactorily served in the position of Accountant II in the Institute or a comparable position with similar responsibilities in like organizations for a minimum period of three (3) years.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
  • Knowledge and Experience of ERP system
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • High degree of integrity and dependability.
Terms of Offer: An
