Pan Africa Life wishes to recruit two results oriented individuals for an on-going project.
The positions are as outlined:

The incumbent will be overall in charge of coordination of site supervision of all construction works including interpretation of drawings, setting out and general quality control in liaison with Project Consultants, the Contractor and Subcontractors:

 

Key Result Areas:
  • To act as main technical advisors to other site supervision staff (e.g. Assistant Resident Engineers and Inspectors of Works), Contractor and Sub-contractors.
  • To liaise closely with the design consultants to ensure the project is implemented strictly in accordance with the approved design.
  • To review all drawings, plans, contractor’s method statements and other submittals and ensure conformance with design and specification during implementation
  • To ensure that all the materials used are according to the technical specifications
  • To manage, monitor and interpret the design of the contract documents and construction drawing / information
  • To enforce and oversee quality control in accordance with the contractor’s quality management plan
  • To resolve unexpected technical problems that may arise and/or referring them to the project consultants for input as necessary.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
  • Our ideal candidate must have a B.Sc Civil Engineering degree with at least 10 years post qualification work experience.
  • Must be registered with EBK as a professional engineer and holds a valid Practising License.

v) Employment record and experience (names of companies worked for, projects involved in giving years and responsibilities)
vi) Other relevant skills (such as: proficiency in computer aided designs & detailing, driving, use of survey equipment etc.)
vii) Languages proficiency.
c) Copies of the National ID and relevant certificates for achievements described above
d) Copies of letters of recommendation from previous employers
e) A statement that the applicant has not been accused/convicted on criminal and/or fraud charges
