Probationary Period: 3 Months

The purpose of the post is to develop and execute marketing campaigns
across all channels. 

The role will include planning, organizing, seeking sponsorships, adverting, publicity and market analysis.

The strategic purpose of the Department is: Strategic exploitation of commercial and marketing opportunities benefitting the fulfillment of MSK’s mission
 
The primary responsibility of this role is to further our Goal: THE PREVENTION OF UNWANTED BIRTHS and its mission of ensuring the individuals right to: CHILDREN BY CHOICE NOT CHANCE

Key Responsibilities

This post has the following key responsibilities with related deliverables:
  1. Planning, developing and coordinating with the channel teams to implement effective marketing communication
  2. Recruiting and managing corporate clients in line with the overall organizational business plan
  3. Analysing and monitoring current market trends in our areas of operation to inform our marketing communication campaigns and monitor competitor activity.
  4. Publicity / Advertising
  5. Engagement with the Community Liaison team with regards to mobilization
Measures
  • Detailed reports of implemented marketing communication within channel teams and the impact created.
  • Bi-annual analysis of corporate revenue.
  • Market share in all service channels in respective areas of specialization.
  • Brand recognition, leading to revenue increment across all channel teams.
  • Mobilization activities championed
Key Responsibilities and Measures

Planning, developing and coordinating with the channel teams to implement effective marketing communication.
 

Activities:
  • Offer support to channel teams in delivering marketing communication plans and strategies.
  • Ensure the availability of marketing materials for use by all channel teams.
  • Arrange for the effective distribution of marketing materials within all channel teams.
  • Engage leading universities/colleges and work places, and offer technical support to channel teams in providing SHR talks and medical camps.
  • Work with designers to produce materials of visual impact and within brand guidelines.
Measures
  • Marketing plans that meet the objectives of the marketing department in place.
  • Sufficient stock of IEC materials in store.
  • Channel teams receive appropriate marketing materials and within the stipulated time-lines.
  • Detailed ongoing analysis of marketing campaigns in place.
  • The Brand standards are maintained within the set guidelines.
Recruiting and managing corporate clients in line with the overall organizational business plan.
 
Activities:
  • Source for corporate clients through formulation and marketing of appropriate health solutions to corporate and government institutions.
  • Market to existing corporate clients by conducting health talks and use of IEC materials at work places.
  • Maintain the corporate client portfolio by offering assistance and being the link between MSK and corporate clients.
  • Co-ordinate with the training team in order to build capacity in centre teams on customer care and claims management.
Measures
  • A sound corporate clientele portfolio is in place.
  • Submission of a bi-annual detailed financial report indicating revenue growth.
  • A detailed corporate client analysis report in place
  • Timely and quality customer service delivery and customer loyalty is maintained in all MSK channels.
Analysing and monitoring current market trends in our areas of operation to inform our marketing communication campaigns and monitor competitor activity.
 
Activities:
  • Conduct area-specific market researches and advise channel teams on effective marketing strategies.
  • Monitor current market trends by evaluating competitor service pricing and competitor marketing strategies.
Measures
  • Analysis reports on conducted campaigns are written.
  • Marketing strategies that are in line with current market trends are developed and executed.
Publicity / Advertising
 
Activities:
  • Increase the visibility of centres by organising and conducting launches.
  • Organize the participation of centre teams in MSK thematic days and national and international events such as World cancer day, Mother’s day, e.t.c
  • Promote brand visibility by conducting localized mini roadshows and offering technical support to channel teams in developing wall branding and directional signage.
Measures
  • Maximum visibility is maintained demand is generated.
  • Marketing plans that meet the objectives of the marketing department in place.
  • Maximum visibility is maintained demand is generated.
Engagement with the Community Liaison team with regards to mobilization.
Activities include:
  • Provide the required materials for mobilization support – timely and adequate
  • Develop creative ways of mobilizing the community that will lead to increased demand

Skills and Experience

Qualifications:

  • First degree or marketing-related degree
  • Masters or post-graduate qualifications will be an added advantage
Experience:
  • Experience in relevant industry will be added advantage.
