Recruitment of Ward Administrators Staff (25 Posts)
Applications are hereby invited from qualified persons to fill the above positions.
 
Requirements
  • Have good interpersonal communication skills and abilities to mobilize citizens in participatory planning.
  • Not less than 5 years’ experience in administrative duties.
  • Holds at least Form Four qualifications and post expertise in the areas one has been working in.
  • Conversant with County revenue sources and ability to enhance and mobilize the potentials.
  • Conforms to Chapter Six of the Constitution.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate, manage and supervise the general administrative functions in the Ward.
  • Mobilize revenue collection and play a critical role in building personal accounts and business register of rate payers and business people in the ward.
  • Articulate implementation of Articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution to the citizens.
  • Coordination and facilitation of citizen participation in the development of policies and plans and delivery of services.
  • Exercise functions and powers delegated by the County Public Service Board to the office.
  • Ensure the Village Councils that shall be formed in the Wards are well managed.
  • Work closely and report to the Sub County Administrator who is the immediate supervisor.
